What is SimpleTax?
SimpleTax is a free, web-based Canadian tax return software. It is certified accurate by two of the highest tax agencies in Canada — the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec. It features a smart search box where the user can add anything to his/her return. The software also has a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) calculator that can compute the effects of contributions to refunds and taxes. SimpleTax’s refund optimizer could even run thousands of calculations to maximize the user’s credits and deductions. SimpleTax’s helpfulness doesn’t end after the user submits the return. Even after submission, the software can give financial recommendations to the user to help them achieve their monetary goals.
