What is Miro?
Miro is productivity software that lets you conduct meetings and workshops, perform product development, agile workflows, user experience research and design, innovation/ideation, strategic planning, and mind mapping in one compact yet powerful software. When creating a new project, Miro starts off as a blank, unlimited canvas where you can start brainstorming and collaborating with team members immediately. Instead of going the list route, Miro supports the many ways your mind can creatively wander: mind mapping, agile workflows, whiteboarding, etc. Team members can actively add their inputs to the board, and you can all further collaborate via text, voice, or video chats. The initial but limited version is available free, and you can upgrade to team, business or enterprise plans via paid monthly subscriptions. Freelancers and consultants can also join in on clients via a special Consultant plan which gives your access to the team boards as well as your own private space.Product Quality Score

Miro Benefits

The main benefits of Miro are as follows: creating and innovating tasks faster, easier collaboration, centralized and standardized communication, and enterprise-grade security. These benefits are explained in more detail below:
Create and innovate tasks faster
Miro is a productivity software that starts you off with a literal blank state: an infinite canvas that works as a toolkit to let your mind go creative. Using pre-made templates and a whole set of widgets that include free form pen, shapes, sticky notes, arrows, smart drawing and others, you can create user story or customer journey maps, wireframing, roadmap or sprint planning, retrospectives, and other project tasks.
Easier collaboration
Designed to work optimally with remote or distributed teams, Miro provides enhanced collaboration experiences despite distance and time zone differences. You can share presentations and boards easily, check mouse tracks to see where your team members engaged, and leave messages and comments on a number of communication platforms.
Centralized and standardized communication
You can keep the ball rolling while sharing presentations with text, voice, and video chat. With Miro, you can also reduce downtime by getting to boards easier via simple folder organization and structure. You can streamline your workflow and add even more tools to your arsenal via integrations with popular productivity apps such as Slack, Jira, Asana, Google Drive, and others.
Enterprise-grade security
Miro features robust security that includes SSL encryption, SSO, audit logs, domain filtering, and others. In addition, the software complies with SOC-2, GDPR, and PCI standards.
