What is Macrium Reflect?
Macrium Reflect is a disk imaging, backup, and cloning software. It has been designed and is being distributed by Macrium Software, a company established in 2006. The founder had experienced data disaster personally and did not find easy-to-use backup tools at that time. This led to the creation of Macrium Reflect that is now known to have speedy recovery times and have secure and safe disk image functionalities. Throughout the years, Macrium Reflect has evolved to meet customers’ requirements for disk imaging and recovery by integrating new features and capabilities. The software has five editions, one of them being the free edition that has been offered from the software's inception. This made the company one of the earliest outfits to make backup software available to the public for free. Other editions are paid solutions that cater to one’s home PC, large scale servers, and professional workstations. Prices vary and are based upon licenses per PC or server.
