What is ContractWorks?
ContractWorks is a document management software that helps you quickly organize and manage documents within your system. Owing to their confidentiality and importance, special attention is given by ContractWorks to the security and safekeeping of these documents. You'll be able to track and tag your documents for better record-keeping as well as monitor agreements if there are signed agreements due to lapse or expire. In addition, ContractWorks also lets you route documents for signature via email without the need for a paper printout. The built-in electronic signature lets you sign using your personalized and legal e-signature. This leads to unprecedented savings in paper, printer ink, and physical delivery of documents to signatories. ContractWorks can be installed in both Mac and Windows desktops, but also has web browser log in access, which makes documents available anytime, anywhere. Simple but powerful interface
The simplicity of ContractWorks’s UI contrasts with its powerful document managing capabilities. The folder view allows you to distribute your documents based on your preferred filing method. From there, you can tag documents, create templates, sign documents, switch users, generate reports, and search documents via a search bar.
Smart document tagging
Upon upload to the ContractWorks database, each document is automatically tagged using artificial intelligence to assign specific categories, including agreement type, parties, agreement date, termination date, and others. This allows users to quickly get a summary of each document’s contents and pertinent details.
Built-in e-signature
The built-in e-signature features allow users to create and save their unique signatures for use in signing contracts, eliminating the need to physically sign printed documents that require paper and printer costs. Each subscription of ContractWorks comes with 5 free e-signatures.
Document security
To maintain confidentiality and security of the documents handled by ContractWorks, they are saved in cloud services provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, which is certified as ISO 27001 and SOC 1, 2 & 3 accredited data centers. Documents are encrypted in transit and rest, while two-factor authentication is required for users prior to accessing the document repository.
Transparent pricing
Unlike its contract management software counterparts, ContractWorks does not charge by the user, but rather provides a set limit of documents (and free e-signatures) per plan. All features (except SAML 2.0/Single-Sign-On and salesforce integration) are standard in all plans.
