    Wrike is my favourite Saas decision for my work and personal life. I have two accounts – one is for personal GTD and the second is for my teams, where I do my tasks, even if in reality there are no people in these projects – just for self-registration of completed tasks.

    – What would you add to Wrike features? Oh, there are many of them. A good normal integrated calendar, not a current one, a normal internal instant messenger, which will be a really instant – a current system of commentaries doesn’t work properly with a really needed for a typical burst conversation without pressing f5, some lacks in the dashboards and widgets interface are needed to neutralized, a desktop client version is strongly needed, because chrome browser could have too many opened pages, including custom statuses feature in a professional plan is strongly needed for those who don’t need the other functionality of a business version!

    I think Wrike has a ton of potential and is really great to use. It’s one of the few PM software that actually has a timeline view of the projects. The mobile app needs work. Its not easy to quickly add tasks and doesn’t take advantage of useful tools only a mobile app can do like geofencing or adding photos.

    I can’t believe Wrike only scored 78%! My business of 5 people depends entirely on Wrike for all tasks and projects. We’ve even started basing our meetings on Wrike.
    Here are my favorite aspects:
    -Subtasks and project folders. They make it so much easier to plan, both bottom up and top down.
    -The UI is great–click and drag, mass actions
    -TONS of helpful resources and a vibrant user community
    -Multiple view types–GANTT, table, stream, title
    -Very collaboration-friendly
    Here are the reasons why you SHOULDN’T get Wrike:
    -You don’t do a lot of project-based work. Wrike is primarily project-oriented and if you just want to manage your tasks, use a free tool like Trello
    -You don’t plan on investing time and effort into execution. This is powerful software that needs to be thoroughly and carefully implemented.
    The only thing Wrike could do to improve is to add an accountability matrix to the projects. It would be great to be able to assign “responsible, accountable, consulted, informed” for separate projects.

    Moving from one PM tool to another has been really easy with Wrike. We immediately saw and felt the differences. Much better overview of our projects, tasks and subtasks. From entering project data in multible ‘apps’ to only one, has made our work much easier and time saving.
    Although we miss some automatic workflows we are satisfied with our choice of PM tool.

    We use Wrike at my place of business and it’s been incredibly helpful. Some of my favorite features are the flexibility in chart style – you can show timelines, Ganett charts, individual reports, etc — depending upon what you want to show and that you can easily comment via email instead of having to log in and out of the app each time. It also seems fairly flexible for smaller teams. Whenever we have a contractor come in, they can use the features of Wrike we need them to have access to versus the entire site.

    In the future, I’d like to see more color options for fonts and integrations into other software.

    Our workflow has definitely changed. We have all departments on board; and even the new engineers are participating. Tasks/projects that were previously being put off are kept at our attention. It is taking some getting used to; but we’ve only had it a couple weeks and people are picking it up quick. There has been some redundancy and confusion on how to implement all the features and communication. But, that’s to be expected with software I think. We chose Wrike mainly because of the extent of features in the Free mode. We upgraded to the lowest price tier, and it’s light years ahead of using Excel so we’re happy. We may move up in price tiers as we get more used to the software. We’ll see. We like the phone app, too. We like the timeline view. We like the table view of all projects as it gives us something to glance through in staff meetings. Oh. And probably most of all, I have appreciated their customer service. They have a live chat function where I can get someone responding to me immediately. It’s been super helpful.

    Wrike is a game changer platform for us. It’s great tool to collaborate not just for our internal team but also external team who needs to know the progress of certain projects. We are starting to move away from cc-ing in email to just writing some comment to be shared with relevant people. Another great thing about Wrike is the evolution. The updates of Wrike is getting better and better, and that’s a proof the platform is not being static instead it’s beautifully improved.

    Wrike is a great tool for our marketing department. It is easy to use, easy to train and user-friendly. Reporting is a great feature that we use regularly. Everyone on our team knows exactly what tasks/projects they are to complete each day with the use of Wrike. The team is also held accountable for deadlines. With wrike, we are able to communicate to the department on each task. We are able to report to the field the amount of work we have completed within certain timeframes. The only thing I wish Wrike could improve on is automation and calendar views. The calendars would be very helpful if they were actually configurable and printer friendly.

    Wrike’s templates and ease of use allowed us to roll it out quickly. It’s had a great impact on being able to communicate to customers the impact on the timeline due to their delays.

    We’re now going to roll out the integration with Jira. We’ve already implemented the integration with SFDC which works well.

    Wrike has been a useful centralized location for dissemination of information. It is nice to have this tool for that very reason – no need to keep track of multiple emails going back and forth between individuals – all correspondence is listed right in a single stream under a single task.

    Wrike is excellent project management software the best that we’ve come across by a good margin. 

    Game changers:
    -Built in Workflows — we use custom status to manage task workflows in radically different businesses to great success.
    –Ease of assigning other users and passing the task through to another person.
    –Outlook Plugin and integration 
    –Good flow of comments to email and back and forth.
    –Incredible ease of moving stuff around.

    Good Enoughs:
    Time Tracking — it has enough features to allow it to be our time system of record.  We wish it had a little more security and auditability in this area, but it does its job to support time for both billing and payroll purpose.

    Needs Improvement:
    We would like to see Wrike have the ability to automatically assign a certain person if a certain workflow status is selected.
    It is still difficult to integrate Wrike with secure document storage. The current Box integration means anyone with access to Wrike and your Box link can access the document we’d prefer to be able to embed DMS links and then have the DMS sort out who does and does not have access.

    We are using Wrike from April 2017. It helped us to organize our processes with automatic workflows. Though, currently Wrike is not suitable for accounting, I hope it will be in the future.
    We reduced email flows using Wrike up to 50%, it is easy to communicate in Wrike as well as using Dashboard really helps us in our everyday routine tasks.

    Wrike is the best project management platform we’ve ever had.
    Comparing with other platforms, Wrike combines all the nice features in one place.

    Internal communications – comments “@”
    Powerful search engine – you can search for the specific folder, task, project or even attachment.
    Dashboard – the best thing I’ve ever seen with nearly unlimited ways of customization.
    Automatic notifications based on workflows or dependency tree – huge plus which helps us not spend our time trying to figure out what to do next.
    Request form – helps a lot to get a quick survey or to create a project from the template with pre-assigned person.

    Accounting – hope that for the future Wrike will gain more mathematical functions as well as more flexible Table view (sometimes you just need it). I’d love to move our travel and other expenses data to Wrike. One day it will be possible.
    Request forms – currently it is not possible to populate data from the request form fields to custom fields in Table view.
    Mobile app – Not possible to see custom fields on your tablet or phone and sometimes this data is really important.
